*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT13*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia.  After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.  So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

Having seen why Paul and Barnabas were restrained from entering Asia and seeing a vision to come over to Macedonia to help them today we want to look at the reason for the urgent call to come over to Macedonia to help them and why the Holy Spirit regarded it as a matter of emergency.

The bible told us that he saw a man of Macedonia who stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us. It takes humility to do that and once a man or woman is humble God will always respond.

*The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart, These, O God, You will not despise*. *Ps 51:17*.

A broken and contrite heart talks of humility. Humility attracts the attention of God. Humility activates the grace of God. Whenever one is humble God goes into action. Check this out.

*Surely He scorns the scornful, But gives grace to the humble. Prov 3:34*.

*But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." James 4:6*.

The secret of Moses's walk with God was his humility.
*Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth. Num 12:3*.

How humble are you in your walk with God? Many of us are deceiving ourselves that we are humble when in reality we are proudly humble(pretending to be humble) it takes humility to attract the grace of God.

I pray for you and with you that whatever that looks like pride and whatever that attracts pride into our lives be rooted out and the grace of humility be given to us so that our lives may continually attract the blessings of God through Christ our Lord Amen.

*COUNSEL*.  Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
