*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT10*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

yesterday we took a ride on why the apostles Paul and Barnabas was restrained from entering certain place as they journey with message of the gospel and we said that one of them could be a test of their obedience to the God of the work so that they don't work for God without God as many are doing these days.

Another thing that we want to look at today is the motive behind why they wanted to enter Asia minor at that particular time. Is there anything that they wanted and wanted to use the gospel to cover up for like finance?. Hence God wanted to use the opportunity to teach them godliness with contentment.

They were being trained to do what God wants not what they wanted. It is possible that they wanted to enter to proof a point but God had to show them that they have nothing to proof to anybody but to do the work to which they have been called.

It is possible that other apostles like Peter who was an apostle to the gentiles was there so why should all of them be there when there are other countries that needed the good news much more?

Whose work are you doing and who are you taking instructions from? Are you doing the work how and where it pleases you? Does your motives allign with the will of the God of the work? Remember that you cannot work in JULIUS BEGGER and expect to receive your reward from RCC.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit locate you and your family this weekend for aboundant blessings and exploits through Christ our Lord Amen.
