*ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT38*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

We have been looking at what makes a sacrifice acceptable to God and we have talked about 1. Whole 2. Voluntary and Right. Today being helped by God we will continue to see more.

4. *THANKSGIVING*. The purpose and intention must be right. It must be to thank God for what we enjoyed unqualified and not to pay God for what He has done for us as no man can pay or will be able to pay God also knowing full well that our Thanksgiving adds nothing to God but profits us into salvation and avails us the opportunity to receive more..

*I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord*. *Ps 116:17*.

5. *HONOUR GOD*. Do you want to honour God? Then give Him quality worship and praise as a sacrifice of praise honours the Lord.

6. *LOVE*. It must be done out of love of God and not for giving sake.

*And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing*. *1 Cor 13:3*.

*And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma*. *Eph 5:2*.

Having seen some of the reasons that should inform our sacrifices the big question now is, How have you been making your sacrifice and how do you want to continue from now. Our Thanksgiving must be truly right, just and worthy of the God we are sacrificing to.

May our sacrifices win us favour and Divine approval in the sight of our God through Christ our Lord Amen.

Good day beloved and do have a blessed weekend. Peace be with you.

To all of us celebrating anything today this is wishing you the best.

*REMEMBER*, That it is persistence that breaks resistance.
