*ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT27*

*And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God*. *Roman 12:2*.

Yesterday we started looking at what led to the birthing of joy and encouragement in the lives if the early believers when they heard the word of God read to them and St Paul told us that it had to do with 1. Transformation 2. Renewing of the mind. 3. Proving what is good and perfect will of God.

Today we will be looking at what it takes to renew our minds. Apart from all that we saw yesterday we still have the following as part of the renewal of the mind.

1. It entails the examination of our lives and the possible outcome of it. Are we living our best? Where are we getting it wrong? Where do we need amendments? How do we go about it?

2. How about our focus? Is it on Christ the author and the finisher of our faith or other things? Are we really focusing on Jesus or pretending to be doing so while our focus is on other mundane things.

3. Have we changed the way we think? The way we look at things, the way we think, our relationship with one another and how we handle whatever that comes to us.

4. What of the efforts to better our lives? Have the word of the Lord that we hear been able to make us a better person? What efforts are we making to ensure that the life that we are living today is better than the one that we lived yesterday?

Are you living your best life in your relationship with God and man? What efforts are you making to make sure that your yesterday is not better than your today in terms of living out your best?

I pray that God will give us the grace to live out our best in every area of our lives through Christ our Lord Amen.

Good day beloved and do have a wonderful weekend. Peace be with you.

To all of us celebrating anything today this is wishing you the best.
