*ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT19*

*When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement*.  

*Acts 15:30-40*.

For about three to four days now we have been looking at the mind and today by the grace and inspiration of God we will be looking at blindness since St Paul has mentioned it as one of the ways that the god of this age is using to make sure that the word is not birthing joy and encouragement in our lives in these words.

*"whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them*. 

The god of this age did not destroy their mind because he has no right to so but he can blind it hence he blinded their mind. To be blind speaks of so many things.

First and foremost, to be blind means to 

✓ Lack vision, 

✓ Loose the ability to see, 

✓ Not seeing speaks of lack of direction. 

✓ When you don't see, anything can seem right to you. 

✓ When you don't see you can easily be deceived. 

✓ When you don't see you need somebody to lead you and it depends on who is leading you. 

And i believe that since the god of this age is the reason behind the blindness it buttresses what St Paul said to be a fact that it is aimed at making sure that such a one will not see the glory of the gospel.

Now to have blinded your mind means that the god of this age does not want you to have the benefits of the gospel being read or heard and it buttress the fact that he has pre planned intention according to St Paul to make sure that you don't see the glory of the gospel.

The bible speaks of those "who do not believe" it tells me that the target of the enemy is to make you remain in your unbelieve because if they see they will be converted.

Blindness also speaks of ignorance and the worst ignorance is when you don't know, you don't know that you don't know, and you don't want to know that you don't know such level of blindness has no cure.

All of us in one way or the other has been blinded by the god of this age with so many things especially with erroneous and selfish doctrines aimed at manipulating and extorting us and diverting us from the glory that that gospel brings.

In your mind of minds you know the areas that you have been blinded, you know the areas that you have not repented and the devil is deceiving you that there is no need to go there. Check well.

I pray that whatever that the god of this age has used or will use to blind our minds inorder to take advantage of us and to make us not to see the glory of the gospel catches fire now in Jesus name Amen.
