*ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT18*

*When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement*.  
*Acts 15:30-40*.

St Paul has been telling us why the word of God that we hear does not birth joy and encouragement and we have been looking at the mind. Today we will continue to take a look at the mind.

*"whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them*. 

Whenever we talk about the mind one of the things that we are talking about is the intellectual or intelligent power in man, the ability of the man to understand. The mind is where the power to conceive, judge or reasons lies. So the mind is blinded by the god of this age to make us not to understand the word of god preached to us.

Have you ever heard the word "To put in mind" or to keep in mind? It speaks of understanding and remembering what has been understood. We also have the word "to remind". To keep remembering what has been understood. Do you now see the reasons why the mind has been blinded?

The truth of the matter is that the god of this age cannot blind our minds without our cooperation and the major way of cooperating with him is to take things for granted.

I pray that in anyway that our minds has been blinded that the grace of our Lord Jesus set us free through Christ our Lord Amen.

Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
