*DIDN'T CONFUSE YOURSELF* 

*But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened*.
*Luke.24.21*.

Bro Cleopas started by saying that "it was He who was going to redeem Israel" they were hoping that He it was that will redeem Israel, of a truth was He the one to redeem Israel? Yes, did He come to redeem Israel? yes even the general Israel this people did not get it because as far as they were concerned He failed by dying.

Did Jesus fail according to human standard and expectations? Yes, Sis He fail God in what He did? No, can he redeem Israel? Yes, is it part of His mission? Yes but why are these men saying that they were hoping that He it was that will redeem Israel as if he cannot do it? Because they failed to understand the working of God.

The ways of God is different from our ways, how God operate is always different from how we want him to operate. God operates as God and we expect Him to act or operate not as the God that He is but according to our expectation.
"*For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD*. *Isa.55.8*

As far as bro Cleopas and his friend were concerned Jesus has failed because he did not meet their expectations. He died when they needed Him the most, His mission was not fulfilled because their hope was for Him to redeem Israel so that they will continue to brag that they are the only people of God.

If not for selfishness why will they want only Israel to be saved? If not for misunderstanding they would have known that Jesus is the father of all and not only Israel and if not ignorance they would have known that Jesus has what it takes to redeem not just Israel but the whole world.

*LET US PRAY*🙏 🙏 🙏
Pray for you and with you that the expectations of your enemies over your life will never come to pass by the power in the name of Jesus.
