*YOU ARE UNIQUE PT9*

*Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth*." 
*Gen 1:26*.

Yesterday we started talking about looking like God because God told us that He made us in his image and likeness. Today we will look at what it means to look like God in relation to our life. Amen!!!

First of all let us see what likeness means.
What does it mean to have a likeness of God.
Likeness means to resemble in form.
To look like in character.
It simply means doing what will make people not to fell the absence of the one you look like.

Have you not heard the saying"like father like son?"
Another good example is what happened at Antioch where the disciples of Jesus were first called christians not because they were living anyhow or quarrelling amongst themselves or even with other or perceived enemies but because seeing them the people did not miss the absence of Jesus because there were living the life Jesus would have lived.

The people saw Jesus in them. They saw the character of Jesus in them and they saw the life of Jesus in them as such they don't need to wait for Jesus to know what to do but to emulate the disciples since their lifestyle is the same as that of Jesus.

Do you look like God? In what area of your life do you resemble him? Do people see it in you? Does what people see in you represent exactly what you are in private?

I pray for you and with you that the grace of God in your life will not be in vain and that by the reason of that grace may you make impacts in your life in Jesus name.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
