*YOU ARE UNIQUE PT2*

*Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth*." 
*Gen 1:26*.

Yesterday we said that God created other things by His word but when He came to the creation of man he made consultation amongst Himself and planned it out before making man and we said that reason for him to do so was because man is unique.

Another reason why God had to consult Himself by Himself before creating man was that he wanted man to be like Him. You heard me! You are just god in human form.
*Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods"'? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)*, *Jn 10:34-35*.

It was necessary that for God to produce another god He had to plan it very well and come to terms with His community of persons (father, son and Holy Spirit) because man had to function like God without rebelling against God. Without claiming equality with His maker and in total submission to the supremacy of his maker(God)

It is expected that why man discharges his duty as god it should be done with total surrender of all the glory to one that made Him. Man should not work in isolation of him that made him but in accordance with the will of Him that made him.

Man was not created to be god outside God but live like God in holiness and virtues knowing full well that he came from God and will return to God and that all that he has are God's with the intention of remaining God's and to allow God to do with him whatever He (God) pleases.

Do you understand who you are now and the position that you occupy in creation and the reason to live for God and God alone in holiness and virtues?

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
