*ARE YOU PREPARED*

*For unto us a child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace*. 
*Is 9:6*.

Having seen the life of sis Lydia let us proceed to see how we are getting set for the celebration of the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ.

Anytime we get to this season many of us are always caught up with lots and lots of preparation not knowing what they are preparing for thereby preparing the wrong way.

It is my opinion that you are either preparing for Christmas which is the birth of Jesus or you are preparing for crazymas which is following the crowd not knowing why or where they are going to or knowing the reason why the crowd are doing what they are doing.

Many of us are preparing in buying new clothes, making preparation for what to eat and drink, friends to meet and how to travel long distance to celebrate with our loved ones but the question why we are doing all that still remains unanswered.

Our scripture reading tells us that "For unto us a child is born, Unto us a Son is given;" for many of us God made a mistake for not asking us first and foremost if we need this precious gift of his son.

For those of us that believers that they deserve this gift of God the question that i will ask you is "are you prepared for the gift? How do you prepare to receive this gift? Is your heart ready and is there a space for Him in your heart? Are you busy preparing for rice and stew and forgetting the reason for the season?

I pray for you that God will give you the right mind for the right preparation so that this gift will be one of blessing to you and your family in Jesus name Amen

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
