*FAITH NUGGET*

*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT23*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 

*Acts 16:6-10*.

Yesterday we started looking at the hows to seek God inorder to find him and Jesus told us yesterday that one of the ways is by seeking God and His kingdom first. Today we will continue with our consultation.

King David is telling you and i today that one of the way to seek Him inorder to find him is to enter his gates. Of course you and i know that the best place to see anyone is in his or her house and thank God that David gave us the keys to enter his gates.

*Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name*. *Ps 100:4*.

This is what king David is saying.

1. We enter his gates(courtyard/compound) with Thanksgiving. Once you arm yourself with Thanksgiving be rest assured that nobody will stop you from entering his compound and once you have entered the compound you can then use the next key to open the living room.

2. Praise. Praise is the key to enter the parlour/living room where you can now tell God what you want.

3. Tank. You don't come empty handed but you come with a tank but for people like us we go with vessels and king David is saying that for you vessel or tank to be full that you must be thankful. It is your thankfulness that you use to fill your tank of blessings.

4. Bless Him. When your tank of blessings has been filled the next thing to be done is to bless Him. Are you thinking what am thinking? How can you bless the God that is blessings itself? All that he wants us to do is to be grateful for the blessings that is all not that he needs our blessing as He it is that blesses us.

Having had this expo we can now do the following, 

*Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need*. *Heb 4:16*.

Why boldly? Because we have the keys and the assurance that we are not going to be stopped or meet any obstacle on our way.

I pray that God will give us the grace to know Him and to worship more and more and the grace to become better persons and better Christians so that our lives will be a light that will bring many to his kingdom through Christ our Lord Amen.
