*Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that on the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil*." 
*Gen.3.4*.

Let us continue to expose the lies of the devil reasons being that we don't want to fall prey to the devil again especially as his lies most times look good enough to subscribe to. We have talked about the devil lying to the woman that if she disobeys God that she will be like God.

Wait a minute how can you look like whom you choose to disobey because by disobedience you are telling the one you disobey that he has no part in you and that you have no love for him and there is no connection between both of you so how can you look like that same person? Anyway that is the devil for you. The father of all lies indeed.

The other line of lies is that the eye of the woman will be open. Have you been teased of being timid? Simply put, your eyes are not open? So you know what it means to say that your eyes are not opened? Many times it is about you being left behind in crime and criminality.

Many of us at one time or the other fell prey to that tease because we wanted to prove that we are not timid that we are actually wise. The truth of the matter is that in as much as it has to do with God we can do it with the intention of reconciling with God later unfortunately Eve did not reconcile with God.

So when the devil was telling the woman that her eyes will be opened, he was cunningly telling her that there is a secret that God is holding from her and it can only be revealed by eating the tree but my question is, is the secret hiding in the tree? Is God in the tree for his secret to be in the tree?. How can a tree hold the secret of God and man does not?
