*Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that on the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil*." 
*Gen.3.4*.

There is a song that goes thus "trust and obey, there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey" to trust is to abandon your plan and your will to the one you trust and to obey the one you trust is a sign that you are not compelled to trust but that you trusted willingly and wholeheartedly and the song told us that it is the only way to be happy in Jesus.

Why many of us consider the task of obeying as being too difficult i want to ask us if we have ever taken the cost of the consequences of disobedience? If to obey is difficult what of the risk and the pain of disobedience. Anyway disobedience has become part of our nature that is why we think that it is easier and better.

 Another lie that the devil told or another word of God l that the serpent twisted was that they will be like God. How? That they will be free from the control of God and be independent, he promised them knowledge and god likeness, to be like God in all things which sounded attractive, but it was a trap to bring disobedience to them which will ultimately lead them to sin, shame, and death.

 What God intended for us was to obey Him and them live our lives perpetually in pleasantness and joy in the place of pleasantness and joy buy since we choose otherwise through the yes that Eve said to the serpent we were then cast out of the garden because the garden is a place of obedience and only the obedient ones can live there.

According to Uncle David it can only take integrity to be preserved in that garden and that we have lost due to our disobedience and another thing that it will take to be there is called righteousness and purity of heart because it is a place where God visits and only the pure in heart can see God.
*Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You*. *Ps 25:21*
*Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God*. *Matt.5.8*

 I pray for you and with you that whatever that needs to decrease in your life and is decreasing gradually i s fast forwarded now to decrease speedily by the power in the name of Jesus.
