*PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE*

*And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, "You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die*."' 
*Gen.3.2 - 3*.

Having established a relationship with Eve the serpent allowed her to respond to what he said so that from her response he could know the level of the knowledge of God that Eve has and how to take advantage of it against Eve and from what Eve said it was obvious that Eve did not listen well to God.

Let me explain myself before you begin to get worried about what am saying, Eve said told the serpent that God said, "You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die."' my question is how do you eat first before touching it?

It was there that the serpent knew that Eve does not have a good understanding of God because anybody that knows God knows that our God is a God of order and discipline so God wouldn't have told him to eat first before touching it.

Another place that Eve got it wrong was where she said "lest you die."' you see that Eve presented it as if God was threatening them or forcing them to obey Him, God was only telling them the consequences of touching or eating, it was not a threat but one of the principles of life which is "give and take"

Life is governed by principles and mastering the principles make one a principal over the affairs of life, It is said that to be forewarned is to be forearmed. What does it mean? It means that prevention is better than cure but Eve did not understand but thought that God was threatening them as such the serpent had to capitalise on her ignorance to do her harm.
