*Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that on the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil*." 
*Gen.3.4*.

Today we will continue our exposure of the lies of the devil because like we said if we don't we too may fall to that trap and far be it from us that we fall prey to the devil like the woman did in the name of Jesus. We are still looking at what the devil meant when he told the woman that her eyes will be opened.

By telling the woman that her eyes will be opened the serpent was telling her that she needs to know what God knows as such she needs to break out of God's authority and rulership in order words the devil was introducing pride to the woman like how can you obey God when you too can be God.

If it is easy and possible to know how to become God, why did the serpent not become God himself, if the devil knows what it takes to be God why is he still crawling on it's belly? If the tree is the custodian of what it takes to become God and the serpent knows why still where he is? Do you think that if the devil knows what it takes to be God that he will tell the woman when he has not become one?

Now let us take a look at the serpent and the woman, the serpent was telling the woman that her eyes will be opened now take a look at what is telling the woman that her eyes will be opened. Something that is crawling telling somebody that is standing and the one standing is listening to and giving it attention. Can you imagine!!!

When the devil was telling the woman that her eyes will be opened he was invariably telling her that she can independently decide what is right or wrong by herself and for herself instead of relying on God's command and she can independently choose whether to obey or not to obey
