*WEAR LOVE AS A GARMENT*

*He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*. 
*Jn 3:30-31*.

It has become neccesary that we continue today's reflection by looking inward because uncle John the Baptist that made that statement that we are studying is a man that has allowed self to die and allow Jesus to increase. In a world where I, me and myself is the other of the day even in the church it will be difficult to talk of Christ increasing in us while we decrease.

One important thing that we must do if we want Jesus to increase in us is to wear the garment of love, that statement from Uncle John the Baptist is not just a statement of fact but a statement from a heart of love, a heart ready to give up everything to get one thing "God" there was no way he could have made that statement if his heart was full of jealousy and anger and bitterness and strife.

If we must allow Jesus to increase in us we must as a matter of necessity be ready to show mercy to others the very way that God Himself shows us mercy and as matter of fact one of the principles of life is that only the merciful are entitled to mercy and am talking about the kind of mercy that is born out of love.

Another Way to make Jesus increase in us while we decrease is to proclaim Jesus to all round us with our life and words and most importantly by our lives because action they say always speak louder than voice.

Always learn to open up o Him and separate yourself from whatever that will make you to loose sight of Him, Peter lost sight of Him in the sea and began to sink so if you loose sight of Him you too will sink and to separate yourself from friends and associates that will talk you into not allowing christ to increase in you.

I pray for you and with you that the oil of favour upon your life will never run dry by the power in the name of Jesus.
