PROJECT JESUS

*PROJECT JESUS*

*You are an overcomer*

*He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.
*Jn 3:30-31*.

There is another thing that uncle John the Baptist said that keeps me wondering and that is that "is above all" wait a minute how on earth did uncle get there? To humiliate himself in public all because of Jesus.

The truth of the matter is that truth is truth no matter who said it and who is affected. Uncle John the Baptist knew that even if he had to hide the truth that some say that the truth which he hid will surely come out and if it does that the later shame will be worse than what people perceive as public humiliation.

But uncle John the Baptist would have said "above you all" after all people has already known him to be a great man so he would have stylishly make it look like he was not part of those that Jesus is above.

One thing that i have come to discover about this uncle John the Baptist is that he is not in the league of those who would say that "if it is not me nothing will work" even when they know that things will work better with or without them.

The best thing about uncle John the Baptist is that he used every opportunity that he had to project Jesus. His work is to introduce Jesus to the world and he used every resource at his disposal to do so without minding the cost to his life and ministry because he knew that his greatest ministry is to project Jesus.

FAMILY PT3

Image
*FAITH NUGGETS*  *FAMILY PT3 * *For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*.  *John.3.16*  Concerning this family that we have been discussing i want to hand us over to bro Paul to give us the final say on this matter. *WIVES* Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in *everything*. *Eph 5:22-24* *HUSBANDS* Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. *Eph 5:25-27* *CHILDREN* Children, obey your parents in the Lor...

THE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT PT2

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *THE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT PT2* *The blessings of God upon your life will be so glaring that people will see it and know that you are blessed* *But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened*. *Luke.24.21*. Cleopas and his friend were so disappointed in Jesus that they had to run away even in the night and more was their disappointment when some of their women came to tell them that they saw a vision of Angel that told them that he had risen. Wait a minute, how on earth can somebody that could not come down from the cross rose from the dead? Is it possible? *When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive*. *Luke.24.23*  Cleopas and his friend were with the others until this news came that he had ri...

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *KNOWLEDGE IS POWER* *You are healed in Jesus name* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  *Lk 24:32-33*. I love what Jesus did to bro Cleopas and his friend, he did not force Himself on them, He did introduce Himself to them to avoid people saying that it was because it was Jesus that talked to them personally that is why they believed but He gave them the word( the source of all things) and allowed them to respond in their own way. Each and everyone of us has our unique ways of responding to the gospel, to some it is a scam to others it is one of those things and to some it is the work of jobless individuals but to those who would ...
