*YOU NEED THE SPIRIT*

*Spirit of favour is upon you*

*Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God*.
*John.3.5* 

We said previously that life always pass through water and we said that since man came through water that man must be born again through water hence the bible told us to be born again by water and by the spirit. Water and spirit always walk hand in hand.

Throughout the nine months of man's stay in the womb he was surrounded by water because let us take a look at water and the spirit and how it affects man, we are told that immediately God started creation that the darkness came to interrupt it and all of a sudden the spirit of God hovered over to destroy the darkness and there was water.
*The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters*. *Gen.1.2*.

Let me quickly point it out here that when the spirit was hovering over the face of the deep that there was nothing on the earth so when we are born again with water nothing will remain in us as such we need the spirit to bear witness that there is nothing left in us even our sins so we become fresh and new creation.

Another thing that we need the spirit for after passing through the water is that is for the spirit to give us form because as new creation through the waters of baptism we need the form that we will go with and you know that water only takes the form of whatever it is placed on so we need the Spirit of God so as to carry the shape and form of God.

We need the Spirit to hover over our life so that all the darkness and the work of darkness in us will give way to the Spirit of God to lead and direct us in the ways of God and how to please God. The Spirit needs to go deep in us to root out all traces of evil and make to be truly one with our father.

I pray for you and with you that whatever you have passed through in life that affliction will not arise a second time in your life again by the power in the name of Jesus
