*DESIRE IT, GOD WILL BRING IT TO PASS*

*You are the next to be announced by heaven*

*Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born*?”
*Jn 3:3-4*

Jesus speaking to Mr Nicodemus told him that unless a man be born again that he cannot see the kingdom of God. Before we proceed to take a look at what it means to be born again let us take a look at what Jesus told Mr Nicodemus “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 

Now let's take a look t the response of Jesus to Mr Nicodemus quest, Mr Nicodemus came to Jesus and called him Rabbi and told him that he and his colleagues have investigated him and that they have found out that He was from God and instead of Jesus to affirm that, he went ahead to tell him about been born again.

Mr Nicodemus did not ask Jesus what he must do in order to merit the kingdom of God but Jesus went straight to tell him that the criteria for entering the kingdom of God is o be born again and He said so by telling him that it is a most by saying "assuredly" meaning that without it that it is impossible to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Why would Jesus talk to Mr Nicodemus like that? Was it because Mr Nicodemus came to Him or because Mr Nicodemus was a humble man? Nol sir, Jesus has to tell Mr Nicodemus what he needed to know to get to the kingdom of God because He has seen the heart of this man and come to know that the only thing that can prevent this man from entering heaven is this and he went straight to the point.

How did i come to this conclusion, now let us take a look at it properly, Mr Nicodemus investigated Jesus with others, they had a general conclusion that this man must be from God, why others were plotting to discredit Him, he went quietly to seek how he can make good use of his investigation and indeed he did by coming to Jesus.

Jesus therefore having seen his humility, his openness to the gospel and his readiness to be led to the kingdom of God and having seen his desire for salvation He then went ahead to tell him what he needs to do so as to be saved.
