*BE A BEREAN CHRISTIAN*

*Relax, God is in control*

*There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him*." 
*John.3.1 -2*

There are many things to learn from the life of Mr Nicodemus, i believe that even as a teacher of the law Mr Nicodemus was acting like the Barean Christians who after hearing the word of God will always make research to know whether it is the truth and in line with their Christian faith or not.

Barean Christians will always come to church in Acts of the apostles, hear the word of God with openness and eagerness to serve God better and then go home to check whether they are being deceived or not because they don't want anything to cut them off from the love of God unlike many of us today who come to church to browse or to tik tok or Whatsapp not to talk of the ear pods that enables us to makes calls now without anybody knowing.

Another thing worthy of note here is that there are people who are still hungry and thirsty for righteousness and Jesus will say that the kingdom of heaven is theirs and the kingdom of God is not theirs by their sitting or doing nothing but it is theirs because they pursue it until they attain it.
*Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled*. *Matt.5.6* 

Mr Nicodemus wanted to be like bro Paul who will tell us that he doesn't want to be a sign post by showing the people the road to heaven and not entering and how does he do that? By subjecting himself to practicing those things that he preached, so if Mr Nicodemus as a teacher of the law wants to be listened to he too needs to listen to a highly authority.
