*STOP LIVING IN ASSUMPTION*

Sometimes we think that others are on the same page with us we tend to be comfortable in that assumption that is why many a time humans are always disappointed because most time we fail to face reality and begin to walk in assumption, Cleopas assumed that others were having the same hope as he because he thought so.

Wait a minute, who told bro Cleopas what others were thinking? How did he come to the conclusion that "we had hoped? Because the last time i checked the sons of Zebedee were busy requesting for places of honour not the redemption of Israel and Judas was there too thinking of how to make more money from Jesus so who and who were the *we" that were hoping?

Why Jesus was busy teaching them kingdom principles and how to make heaven, they were busy hoping on another thing hence on the journey to Emmaus Jesus has to open them up to the scriptures since they failed to understand it from the beginning and to make them understand it because it is in their understanding it that their salvation lies.

They were with Jesus but they never allowed Jesus lead them, they followed Jesus not as the leader that will lead them to the new and heavenly Israel but as a cow to be milked till there is no milk left in Him anymore, they followed him with their hopes and aspirations which are contrary to the mission and intention of Jesus for them.

These were a group of lion that has a Lion as their leader but they choose to follow their mindset (goat) which exposed them to all forms of danger because their supposed leader has been abandoned for their personal hopes.

Of all that bro Cleopas thought that he hoped for what did he get out of it? Disappointment, yes, disappointment because no matter how you look at it or what you have in mind Jesus did not come to represent the truth but as the truth and no matter what you do or expect of the truth the truth will always remain the truth.

*LET US PRAY*🙏 🙏 🙏 
I pray for you and with you that any stone rolled to close the door of your lifting be scattered now by the earthquake of the Holy Spirit by the power in the name of Jesus.
