*BODILY PRESENT BUT ABSENT MINDED*

*As you step out today may you step into opportunities of lifting*

*But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened*.
*Luke.24.21*.

According to bro Cleopas "they were hoping* meaning that they were not even certain of what they were hoping for, but wait a minute, did Jesus ever teach them that he came to redeem Israel? Where and how did they come up with the hope of Israels" redemption? Even if it was in the law of Moses or the book of Moses why did they not wait to hear it from Jesus.

What i have observed from bro Cleopas is that many of the disciples of Jesus was with him but were not actually listening to His teaching just the way many of us go to church not to hear the words of his but to receive one miracle or the other.

One day Jesus was teaching them and he told them that he will go back to the father and Thomas started asking him to show them the father and Jesus had to ask Thomas "so you have been with me and yet did not know my father" "bodily present but absent minded"

One day Jesus has to ask the about people's perception of His personality and they began to tell Him all that people were saying and He turned to them and asked them too "who do you say that i am" hoping and believing that by then they must have understood him and know much about Him but none of them could say anything until heaven helped Peter.

The story of the word of bro Cleopas that "we were hoping* must have been what he heard people say not what he knows or what he believe should be and definitely not what Jesus taught them that is why when Jesus met them on that journey he has to teach them again so that they may come to know and understand the truth.

My dear this piece is coming to you not because you don't go to church or that you have not been hearing the word of God but it may be the piece of truth that you need to come to the truth and to understand the messages of Jesus so stop assuming and start listening to Jesus.

I pray for you and with you that in this season that whatever you have been looking for will start looking for you by the power in the name of Jesus.
